The rhododendrons and the azaleas are at their best in May – June. This is a moment of sparkling colouring within a fresh green environment.
Also in May, you can admire the elegant and exotic looking dove tree (Davidia involucrate vilmoria) , when it starts flowering two creamy white bracts, which hang on either side of grape sized inflorescences.
Walking in this garden is always enjoyable, especially when the tiny floating clouds are playing with the sunshine, giving a strange claire-obscure effect.
